Francis Energy, the Oklahoma-based electric vehicle (EV) charging company that built the first-in-the-nation comprehensive statewide charging network, was featured in this week’s White House announcement intended to ensure the creation of a convenient, reliable, and Made-in-America charging network.
The White House cited Francis Energy’s success in providing charging access to rural areas, Tribal Nations, and underserved communities, and its projected network expansion of fast chargers to 40 states, starting in 2023.
Francis Energy Founder and CEO David Jankowsky applauded the federal government’s investment in the domestic EV and EV charging industries and its commitment to building a national network of 500,000 EV chargers.
“We appreciate the recognition. Our work to date is the model we will replicate across the country, thanks to the federal government’s investment and leadership. We know that if Americans are going to switch to electric vehicles, they need assurance that charging will be as convenient and reliable as filling up the gas tank.”
